NWA POWERRR airs exclusively on X at 6:05 Eastern, 3:05 Pacific, on Tuesdays. The Preparty efforts to get you caught up and ready to watch POWERRR. Tonight’s taping takes place from Dothan Alabama, as part of the “Looks That Kill” Signature Live Event and was recorded on December 14th, 2024 in front of a live studio audience.

The NWA is finally following up to the explosive confrontation that ended the last seasons of POWERRR. Bryan Idol goes one-on-one with Silas Mason in a falls count anywhere match. Ironically last week’s stipulation between Colby and Kerry was that the match had to conclude the ring. This week, the falls can count anywhere. Silas Mason was 2-1 in 2024 ina singles competition on POWERRR with his only loss coming from an unsuccessful challenge for Thom Latimer’s National Championship. Of the six matches that Bryan Idol had in 2024 on TV as a singles competitor, he lost every one of them.

The NWA will also run back the Six Man Tag Team Match featuring the unlikely Exodus Pro pairing of the Slimeballz and the NWA TV Champion Carson Drake taking on the NWA US Tag Team Champions the Country Gentlemen and their father Joe Cazana. This match seemed odd when it was initially booked and still feels odd. The first encounter ended in a Count Out Victory for the Cazanas when Drake pulled the Slimeballz out of the match stating that the Gentlemen were “alcoholics.”

The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship (affectionately referred to as the Royal Crown) will be on the line when Alex Taylor defends against Joe Ocasio. Taylor has quietly racked up a quality run as the Junior Heavyweight Champion. Taylor won the title at NWA Chicago back in June of 24 by defeating Joe Alonzo. Then he would defend against Tyler Shoop at Joe Cazana Promotions, Crazzy Steve at JCW’s Free-For-All, Jack Cartwheel at Samhain 2, against Sean Logan at the WLW XXV event. And had two more title-victorious defenses at ACW in Poughkeepsie and JCP back in Decatur. Ocasio is a beast and this match might steal the show.
