Willie Mack defeated Samuel Shaw to become new NWA National Champion. It would take not one but two stunners to put down the reigning Tried N True Heavyweight Champion. Willie Mack would have to rely on his speed and agility against the powerful Shaw. Willie Mack would start the match off by sneaking down the ramp early to attack Shaw, a receipt for when Shaw along with Bradley would attack Mack.

Prior to reaching the finals, Willie Mack would eliminate both Ricky Starks and Bradley in their Four-Way Elimination Match.
