United Wrestling Network returns to Irvine Improv on July 19, 2022 for another Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield TV Taping! 4 Main Events have been announced including Championship bouts, a Golden Opportunity tournament qualifyer and a LA Street Fight between two United Originals!
10 years. For 10 long years PPRAY have been rocking the scene of Southern California and the cornerstones of the United Wrestling Network. All of that have been thrown away when Ray Rosas betrayed Peter Avalon and hurt his former partner with several chair shots & Piledrivers! The stage is now set to end this rivalry… In a LA Street Fight!
For Avalon it is about revenge. For Rosas… It is about more than that. It is about to prove once and for all that he is not just Peter Avalon’s Tag Team Partner… But that he is better and finally break away from Peter’s shadow. This LA Street Fight will be ugly as they are destined to do this forever… Whoever will come out on top – will punch his ticket to a possible United Wrestling World Championship Match.
Jordan Clearwater shocked the world when he cashed in his Red Carpet Rumble 2021 win to become the 2nd United Wrestling Network World Champion. And what a tough first title defense he had against “The Masterpiece” Chris Adonis! But thanks to his new alliance with The Embassy (Prince Nana & Invictus Khash) he was able to defend his United Wrestling World Championship! With his new insurance policy the Golden Era could last very long…
His second challenger: Frankie Kazarian! Kazarian – well known for his time in IMPACT Wrestling, Ring Of Honor and now All Elite Wrestling – is a legend in Southern California and has held Championships in major organizations. This is a rare opportunity for him to go after a World Championship and he will make sure that is not gonna miss that chance to walk out with gold!
“King Fat Boy” Papo Esco is very proud to held the United Wrestling World Television Championship and he wants make this title reign the best in United Wrestling Network history. After defending the title against the likes Zicky Dice, Keita & Karl Fredericks (via DQ) he will face his toughest challenge yet: JD Drake!
JD Drake is no stranger to Championship gold as he is a former WWN Champion. And he will not be alone in his United Wrestling Network debut as his Wingmen teammates Peter Avalon & the debuting Cezar Bononi will also be in the building – if The Bodega decide to interfere in this Championship bout.
Speaking of The Bodega… Danny Limelight & Slice Boogie will face each other in a Golden Opportunity Tournament Qualifying Match! The winner will advance to the brand new Summer tournament where the winner receive a United Wrestling World Championship Match. This is not the first time they both face each other under the United Wrestling umbrella as Danny Limelight was Slice Boogie’s first opponent on Championship Wrestling back in 2020.
That match ended as a draw but with a possible United Wrestling World Championship match on the horizon both competitors will do everything they can to win this match! Could this match lead to some tensions in The Bodega? Find out July 19…
As mentioned Cezar Bononi of The Wingmen will make his United Wrestling Network debut when Championship Wrestling returns to Irvine Improv! His opponent: Former 2x United Wrestling World Television & PP3 Cup 2019 winner Tyler Bateman!
The GAWD DAMN MAN returned to United Wrestling Network after a 2 year absence at the last Television Taping and is looking to get back on track in United. This is the first time Match Up between those two so it will be a great opportunity for both to get a huge win.
