United Wrestling Network’s Prime Time LIVE was one of the bright spots of 2020. The series featured talents from across the globe including the champions of the NWA. After 12 episodes the show went on hiatus because of growing concerns of the Global Pandemic. But not until winning the SoCalUNCENSORED 2020 Wrestling Promotion of the Year Award. As October begins, the United Wrestling Network looks to regain its stature in pro-wrestling.

Prime Time LIVE

United Wrestling Network launched weekly pay per view offering called Primetime LIVE. The show was available aired via FITE and traditional On Demand PPVs. The 90 minute weekly episodic show offered talents from across the United States. The show removed the forbidden door, allowing talents from NJPW Strong, CWFH, West Coast Pro Wrestling, AEW, Ring of Honor, and the NWA to compete. Due to growing concerns of Covid-19 and state mandates, the show had to go on hiatus.

The One Year Anniversary of PTL on September 16th that saw the return of PPray (Peter Avalon and Ray Rosas). The next Prime Time LIVE will air Saturday October 2nd on FITE. The conclusion to the United World Tournament that highlighted the series will main event. Either Chris Dickinson or Mike Bennet will leave the Commerce Casino, World Champion.

Championship Wrestling from Hollywood

Also on October 2nd, CWFH makes it’s triumphant return to the Commerce Casino. The show recently went on hiatus due to complications with their old filming location. The Hollywood program has aired in Southern California and across the country country since 2008. The weekly episodic studio style wrestling program is home to the the Hollywood Heritage Champion Jordan Cruz. The program also has featured UWN TV Champion Levi Shapiro and Tag Team Champions The Bodega. While securing a new venue, the show had been airing compilations of its vast library, most recently airing CWFAtlanta. This weekend they will return to filming new content and will also syndicate a localized version of the show in Phoenix, Tampa, and Lake Charles.

Championship Wrestling from Atlanta

Championship Wrestling from Atlanta debut September 22nd. Filming at the World FamousCenter Stage in Atlanta Georgia. Historically the venue has been home to WCW, Ring of Honor, NXT, and now the United Wrestling Network. Already two episodes have aired on Peachtree TV including a United Wrestling Network Tag Team Title Match. The next event is set to tape on October the 7th.

Championship Wrestling Memphis

Earlier in 2021 the partnership between CWFH and Dustin and Maria Starr began to bear fruit. The pair hosted a localized version of CWFH on their local CW Affiliate in Memphis. After three years, the station committed to supporting there own local program. Championship Wrestling Memphis. The show predominately features local talent, with stars from around the wrestling world. Their next event will tape on October the 17th.

Affiliates

Besides the four brands of the United Wrestling Nework, there are a growing brand of affiliates. Championship Wrestling Gulf Coast,Championship Wrestling Sunshine State, and Championship Wrestling from Arizona; all air a localized version of the Hollywood program. The same when the Memphis program started.
West Coast Pro Wrestling makes it’s return to Pay Per View October 7th with No Leaf Clover. WCPW is the title sponsor of the “Bay Area version of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
