United Updates | UWN News

The phrase on social media “Consolidation” has come to the surface. David Marquez has been very vocal in his support for the recently release ROH Talent. Marquez even went as far as to say that he’s excited by what’s next for the United Wrestling Network. As it stands United has new programs Hollywood, Memphis, and Atlanta. An edited version of the Hollywood show airs more localized in a handful of markets. United Wrestling Network also produces Prime Time LIVE monthly on FITE. Big things are happening this weekend as both Memphis and Atlanta have tapings on Sunday.

Championship Wrestling from Memphis

Last week United Heritage Champion, Jordan Cruz defended his title on Memphis TV. Memphis has a bit of an open-door policy. In recent months NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille has appeared for the company. Last week, NWA National Champion Chris Adonis appeared at their live events. They have also welcomed talents from AEW including Lance Archer, Marko Stunt, and on this Sunday, Peter Avalon. Avalon doesn’t come to Memphis alone as “The Neon Phenomenon” Anthony Idol. Also, the Memphis Heritage Championship is on the line when Brett Michaels defends against Mike Anthony. Order your tickets through Eventbrite.

Championship Wrestling from Atlanta

The United Television Championship joins the United Tag Team Titles in having been defended in Atlanta. After the Bodega was successful against the Awakening, Levi Shapiro made his way to Atlanta. Although Shapiro has had two defenses on Peach Tree TV, Shapiro recently faced Suge D at Center Stage. More talent is heading to Atlanta this Sunday. The United Wrestling Network has partnered up with Mucha Lucha Atlanta to present an even greater roster for the weekly program. The inaugural season has seen talents spill from the local Georgia indies, blended with the stars of the Network and faces from Ring of Honor. Sunday’s taping will feature Luke Gallows from Impact, Karl Fredericks from NJPW Strong, and more. Order your tickets through Mucha Lucha ATL.

Championship Wrestling from Hollywood

After a break from live production, the new Hollywood tapings at the Commerce Casino have been hitting differently. Old faces have returned like Brandon Gatson and Max Caster. Manders even returned to challenge United World Champion Dickinson in a losing effort. They return to the Commerce Casino for the Red Carpet Rumble on November 20th, advertising EC3. The taping will serve a dual purpose as a Prime Time LIVE PPV and Hollywood TV Taping. Tickets and PPV Links will be available soon.
