The “Total Extreme Comedy” is a mash up of the comedy world and pro-wrestling. The events wrestling legend Mick Foley and Colt “Boom-Boom” Cabana with other comic acts across the country.

Total Xtreme Comedy sent out the following press release, announcing the cancellation of Mick Foley’s standup show tonight. The cancellation is due to the possibility that the Yankees will be winning the World Series: Hollywood, CA (November 1, 2009) – The scheduled 11/2 Total Extreme Comedy show featuring Mick Foley and Colt Cabana at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC has been canceled due to the World Series and is being rescheduled for a later date. Mick Foley said “Sorry to disappoint people who had their hearts set on our shows at Gotham, but we are going to postpone the shows due to the possibilities of World Series mayhem should the Yankee’s prevail. I know I wouldn’t want to see me on such a big baseball night. And if you’re honest with yourself, neither would you.” Ticket holders with questions are encouraged to call Gotham at 212-367-9000.
