Time Moves Mountains | NWA Ten Pounds of Gold 45 (2019)

A Tale of Two Champions. Both National Champion Willie Mack and Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis had an impressive twenty four hour period. Literally back to back title defenses at House of Hardcore and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, indicating that indeed the National Wrestling Alliance is open for business.

In a twenty four hour span, Willie Mack defended his House of Hardcore TV Championship and his National Championship against Shane Strickland only to fly across country to defend against Samuel Shaw. Successful in both bouts, Willie Mack has been successful in three title defenses. With victories over Strickland, Shaw and “Uptown” Andy Brown in his first defense, Chocolate Thunder faces his next big obstacle this Saturday at the NWA Pop Up Event where he faces Matt Cross.

Likewise, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, the National Treasure Nick Aldis retained his title by defeating both the Swolverine Brian Cage and Bad Dude Tito. Aldis has had quite the successful run of title defenses since regaining his NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship on October 21st from Cody Rhodes.

But the Worlds Champion address his former rival turned “frienemy” Tim Storm. Although it was Aldis to capture the NWA Worlds Championship from Storm, since Storm has been a confidant to the Champion. Tim Storm was in Nick Aldis corner at All In. Tim Storm was ringside for Cody vs. Aldis II in Nashville. And Aldis has thanked Storm publicly multiple times since becoming champion.

Aldis challenge is simple… One last challenge for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Win and your champion. Lose and you never get to challenge for the title again.

The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will be on the line on January 5th in Clarksville at the first NWA Pop Up against James Storm.
