Thom Latimer Challenges Nick Aldis to an I Quit Match | POWERRR TRIP

It would appear that the disdain for Nick Aldis has not subsided in the heart of Thomas Latimer. While appearing on This Is The NWA Weekly, Thom revealed that things are far from over with Aldis. The longtime friends turn enemies faced each other at Hard Times 2. Aldis was victorious. Latimer laid out a challenge to Aldis for POWERRR Trip, demanding an “I Quit Match.”

Nick Aldis formed Strictly Business in late 2019. At the time, his insurance policy, Kamille had already turned her back on him. Aldis recruited Latimer and Royce Isaacs(also known as the Wildcards and were the NWA World Tag Team Champions). Kamille too would rejoin her former employer. The coup was in motion. The four-some dominated the tag team ranks and the Ten Pounds of Gold.

By the time the NWA returned from the Covid-19 shutdowns, Isaacs had moved on. The Wild Cards were no longer tag-team champions. Chris Adonis had been recruited. After Adonis defeated Murdoch for the National Championship, Murdoch began to focus on Alids. As Aldis did everything he could do to avoid Murdoch, a dissension began to fill the ranks of Strictly Business.

Once Aldis lost the belt, he no longer had the ability to keep his alliance intact. The remaining trio would turn on Aldis, believing he had “gone soft.”

Latimer and Aldis have faced each other before. Although they had been known to the team on occasion in Impact, the two were on opposite of the rings quite a bit. The two battled in Wembley Arena to a DQ match in Impact. In a Falls Count Anywhere Match, Aldis would be victorious. In a Street Fight, Latimer would win. Aldis defended his GFW Global Championship against Latimer. And at Hard Times 2, both men went to war. Aldis was victorious, but Latimer believed he had the moral victory.
