THE UNOFFICIAL #NWAPOWERR PRESHOW | NATION WIDE | #THEPREPARTY

The National Wrestling Alliance was formed in 1948. The first NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was Orville Brown. The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship was unified with the Midwest Wrestling Association and the Iowa version of their World Championships. It was Lou Thesz who began unifying rival World Championships in 1948. They unified the National Wrestling Association World Championship, the Los Angeles version of the World Heavyweight Championships, and the San Francisco World Championship. That is the reason it is the Worlds Heavyweight Championship, because the Ten Pounds of Gold represents multiple world championships.

Tonight on POWERRR it is Title Tuesday, and Mims defends against Mondo. Nieves defends against Sirena Veil. And the Austin Idol Invitation will crown a new contender for the NWA National Championship.

𝙉𝙒𝘼 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍𝙍𝙍 𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙤𝙠𝙪 airs Tuesdays, 8 PM ET on Roku Sports. Watch 24/7 on demand.
