The Real Reason Why Jazz vacated the title.

After 948 days as the National Wrestling Alliance’s Woman’s World Champion, Jazz has officially vacated the title. This will mark the first time the title has been vacated in over ten years. The last champion who surrendered the championship was La Reina de Corazones in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Through the course of the interview with PWInsider.com, David Lagana didn’t specify the reason, but it sounded as if it might have been a personal situation. David did note that he hoped they would do business again in the future.

“Due to medical and personal issues in my life at this time. I’m having to turn the belt over without defending it. I will post again soon… Thanks for your support,” acknowledged Jazz on twitter.

Jazz is the first wrestler since the Fabulous Moolah to have held the WWF Woman’s Championship and the NWA Woman’s Championship. The announcement comes just days before the former WWE Superstar was set to face a former Impact Superstar Allysin Kay in Concord, North Carolina as part of the 2019 Crockett Cup. It has been announced that a new opponent will be determined to face Kay and that the winner of the match will fill the vacancy for the Woman’s Championship.
