From FITE TV Description
NWA On PPV
Back On The Attack will mark the NWA’s Return to FITE, for their first Pay Per View over a year. The NWA had planned to hold a Pay Per View on April 19th at the Gateway Center in Atlanta Georgia, Crockett Cup 2020, but canceled that event and all planned live events due to growing concerns from the Global Pandemic. The NWA’s last Pay Per View was Hard Times, where they had crowned a new Television Champion in Ricky Starks. The National Wrestling Alliance produced a total of three pay-per-views in 2019; New Years Clash, Crockett Cup 2019, and Into the Fire. The price for Back on the Attack will be $19.99
The NWA in 2020
After the cancelation of all live events, the NWA partnered with the United Wrestling Network on episodes of Prime Time LIVE to present NWA sanctioned matches on their weekly pay-per-view series. Those matches include the crowning of several new champions. Serena Deeb would defeat Thunder Rosa to become the NWA World Woman’s Champion. Trevor Murdoch would defeat Aron Stevens to be the NWA National Champion. Elijah Burke defeated Zicky Dice to become the new NWA Television Champion. And lastly new tag team champions would be crowned with Aron Stevens teaming with JR Kratos would defeat James Storm and Eli Drake.
NWA Looking Forward
This announcement comes just days after the NWA removed all of its video content from YouTube. The Roster also had a large amount of turnover in 2020. Talents like Eli Drake, James Storm, Ricky Starks, and Tasha Steelz all have signed with other wrestling companies. Furthermore, the contracts of talents like Allysin Kaye, Marti Belle, and Zicky Dice had expired. Some talents like Royce Isaacs asked for their releases. Of course, we also mourn the passing of Joseph Hudson aka Jocephus who passed away suddenly just a few days ago. Needless to say, the show will look extremely different.
