The Mitchell Report: Shanghai Showdown
In the last 2 weeks Ive been lucky to witness 3 old school hard hitting wrestling matches. PQ and Mofo from this past Saturday. “The Pain Train” Preston Quinn defeated “The Mempho Mofo” Mark Bravura to become the new NWA Continental Champion. With the victory Quinn ended The Mofos 600+ day reign. After the match the Fusion locker room emptied to congratulate a very emotional Quinn who thanked the fans for all their support.
Also PQ vs. Lance Erikson as well as Damien Wayne vs. Mike Booth on April 6th. Noticed I said wrestling not sports entertainment. No spotfests, no I’m gonna get my stuff in, etc. Just guys busting their butt the old school way.
The Booth, Griff, Sabbath Match was very intense and hard hitting as you’d expect from all three. I’m interested in a Sabbath/ PQ feud as well. Sabbath is a great talent with a great look.
Lastly Congrats to Larry Horsely who defeated Shek Kassir Asad in a Ladder Match for the NWA Alpha Title.
