The Maestro defeats the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion!

NWA Mountain State hosted the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion with the Showdown II event this past weekend.  Both men lamenting respect and admiration prior to the Worlds Heavyweight Championship bout.  However, that wouldn’t last long.  “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce made sure he walked out of Princeton, West Virginia.
“Awesome show last night. Thank you for your support” tweeted The Stro.  He also tweeted to his fans “Epic weekend I will never forget. God bless you and thank you all.”

The Stro had his second chance at acquiring the “Legendary 10lbs. of Gold” slip through his fingers when Adam Pearce made sure to get himself disqualified.  No word of if and when if The Maestro will get one more shot.  During the weekend, Pearce would retain his championship against Johnny Blast as well.  The Worlds Heavyweight Championship was unable to make it to his scheduled NWA Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, but has dates in Texas, California, and Oregon, before embarking on his first World Championship Defenses in the United Kingdom. Stro returns to Summersville, WV this Saturday for NWA Mountain State.  With any luck, this will not be the last time these two face off.
