The crowning of a new NWA Michigan Champion!
Lansing, Michigan will be the home to the Tournament to determine the NEW Heavyweight Champion for NWA Michigan. January 17th, 2010 will mark the date where eight competitors will join a tournament to re-establish the championship title. The 5 men whom have already signed their names to the tournament are, “Amazing” N8 Mattson, international wrestler Metal Master, former WWE and TNA wrestler “The One Legged Wonder” Zach Gowen, Conrad Kennedy III, and Eddie Venom. Three more competitors are set to be announced in the weeks leading into the Tournament.
The title became dormant in June of 2001. The new champion will have huge shoes to fill, because the previous champion was none other than Chris Sabin. Sabin has gone on to win championships across the globe in Zero One, TNA, WWA, All Japan and New Japan.
