On December 12th the National Wrestling Alliance announced via social media that is had found an opponent for “the Phenom” Jazz. The Woman’s Championship will be on the line on January 5th in Clarksville, Tennessee, when Allie gets an opportunity to wrestle for NWA gold at the NWA Pop Up event.
A two time Impact Knockouts Champion, Allie has become a cornerstone for Impact’s women’s division. Allie became a Champion for a second time by defeating Laurel Van Ness on January 12th and held the title until being defeated by Su Yung. Allie and Yung seemed to be feuding before the Bunny became possessed. Since then on Impact, Allie has become seemingly, a tool of the Undead Bride, even turning her back on former friends to fulfill her master’s command. In the past year most of Allie’s matches have happened in the confines of Impact Wrestling with occasional matches with Rise.
Jazz is self described as the “Baddest Bitch in Wrestling”The longest reigning champion in the National Wrestling Alliance, Jazz has held the Woman’s Championship since September 16th 2016 when she defeated Amber Gallows and Christi Jaynes in a Three-Way Match to capture the title. Jazz’s defenses in New Jersey and In Tokyo in previous years were certainly over shadowed by her returning title defense against Penelope Ford at the 70th Anniversary Show. Since then she’s gone on to defeat Jordynne Grace, Joseline Navvarro and is scheduled to face Alexia Nicole in Toronto on December 16th.
The NWA has officially announced all three title matches for the NWA Pop Up event that will be held in conjunction with Tried N True Pro Wrestling. Nick Aldis will defend the Ten Pounds of Gold against James Storm. Willie Mack will defend the National Title against Matt Cross. Their will be a qualifying match for the 2019 Crockett Cup.
