Colt Cabana being recruited by Famous Comedian/Actor
Jay Mohr recently reached out to reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana and the Art of Wrestling Podcast. Jay tweeted, “How do we get you and your podcast to sign with FAKE MUSTACHE STUDIOS?” Jay Mohr and his Mohr Stories started on Kevin Smith’s SMODCast, but recently branched out to his own Podcast Studio. Mohr recently signed funny man Jay Larson’s Crabfest Podcast to the Fake Mustache Studios. Cabana will wrestle at the “George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame Show”, Friday Night at 7:00PM for Impact Pro Wrestling. General Admission at the door is $12.00
NWA Mountain State on iPPV
NWA Mountain State Freedom Fest just a slight twist in the event line up. Initially set to be The Reaper vs. The Modern Day Hero for the World Junior Heavyweight Championship. However after the controversy at the last Television Taping in NWA Mountain State, a re-match has been announced. This won’t sit to well with our talkNWA guest Matt Conard.
Congrats to Austin Aries
It was just a few years ago, Aries was the NWA Mid-West X-Dvision Champion. I was fortunate enough to see Aries and Sky wrestle in NWA Hollywood repeatedly. Now, Aries is the World Champion of IMPACT. When I wrote about Aries forfeiting the title just a few weeks ago, I never would have expected him to actually win the title… I thought it would be typical bait and switch booking you expect from TNA. Glad to see that wasn’t the case.

He’s joined the podcast several times, crashing interview with Damien Wayne and Kevin Douglas, but now for the first time, The Reaper Matt Conard will be our guest on talkNWA. Matt has the biggest match of his life on Friday night he was to get his first challenge for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship. He’ll join us the very next day.
