Stro challenges the NWA Worlds Champion Adam Pearce

The “Maestro of Wrestling” Stro looks to fulfill a life long dream in getting an opportunity to claim the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Stro will wrestle in front of his home crowd on during a NWA Mountain State Television taping on February 5th at the Rec. Center in Rand, West Virgina. Besides being a former WCW wrestler, Stro has been one of the most dominant wrestlers in West Virgina and a multi-time Mountain State Champion.

This might be the biggest match of the Stro’s career as he steps into the ring with a fan who, on his third NWA World Title reign, has faced off against some pretty impressive challengers. In 2010, Pearce successfully defended the “Legendary 10lbs. of Leather and Gold” against names like NWA National Champion Phil Shatter, WWE’s Daniel Bryan, former WWE Wrestler Charlie Haas, Colt “Boom-Boom” Cabana, Joey Ryan, ROH’s Roderick Strong, and countless others. Some say that Pearce’s third reign has been his best. There doesn’t look to be any slow down from the Worlds Champion.
