In back-to-back months, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will be defended in Ohio by reigning champion and the “biggest man in professional sports,” Thrillbilly Silas Mason. At last month’s Wrestling Revolver, Silas Mason defeated Rich Swann to retain the Ten Pounds of Gold. Saturday Night, Mason takes his prize to the Buckeye State into the friendly confines of Exodus Pro, where he defends against Anthony Greene. The entire event will be broadcast on StudioSports’ YouTube channel.

ANTHONY GREENE

Exodus Pro fans are quite familiar with Anthony Green. Anthony Greene made his in-ring debut for the NWA Territory, challenging Dante Casanova for the NWA Midwest Championship at When in Rome II, last year. He seemingly began to partner with Carson Drake, even joining Team Carson for the Carson Cup in October. However, after he defeated long-time veteran of the ring and Ohio native Matt Cross, he shocked many. He joined Carson ringside when Carson attempted to cash in to win the NWA Midwest Championship, but Anthony sides with Richard Holliday, helping him secure the victory. Anthony comes into this title match with Silas Mason with a load of experience from working GCW and MLW. He’s already been announced for BATTLE RIOT VIII and would certainly love to enter the tournament as the Real Worlds Heavyweight champion.

THRILLBILLY SILAS MASON

Defeating Thom Latimer at NWA 77, Silas Mason became the 60th man to hold the Ten Pounds of Gold. He has already lined up a schedule that has seen him defend the title for Joe Cazana Promotions, and will see him defend further at Kross Fire Wrestling and Exodus Pro. If successful, Mason will be defending the title again on the 31st for JCP, February 7th for Duke City Wrestling, and in Tampa for the POWERRR TV Tapings.
