Samuel Shaw to Challenge Willie Mack for the NWA National Championship

“Willie Mack.  I have absolutely no respect for you.”

On Ten Pounds of Gold, it was revealed that Samuel Shaw will challenge for the NWA National Championship Willie Mack on December 9th 2018 in Port Hueneme for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood’s Milestone.

Samuel Shaw is the reigning Tried N True Heavyweight Champion.  A product of the Team 3D Wrestling academy, Shaw would hone his craft early on in Ohio Valley before appearing for Impact Wrestling.  His first opportunity at the NWA National Heavyweight Championship came at Nashville Fairgrounds.  The fifth name announced for the National Championship Elimination Matches at the 70th Anniversary, Shaw was paired into the first four match, facing Colt Cabana, Sammy Guervara, and Scorpio Sky.  Shaw was the man to eliminate Cabana and lastly eliminated Scorpio Sky to advance to the title match.  Shaw would ultimately fall to two Willie Mack stunners.

Willie Mack success has only followed him since the NWA 70th Anniversary Show.  Mack out lasted El Mesias, El Barbaro Cavernario, Michael Elgin, to win the Crash Luchas Libre Heavyweight Champion.  Mack is also the reigning House of Hardcore Twitch/TV Champion.  Willie Mack was also a former Hollywood Heritage Champion before being stripped by the front office.  “Chocolate Thunder” has his first National Championship defense against Uptown Andy Brown.

Milestone is an annual event promoted by Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, starting 2016.  It is one of four highlighted events for CWFH.  Traditionally held towards the end of the year.  Milestone will also feature Tim Storm vs. Peter Avalon 4, the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match between Nick Aldis and Bad Dude Tito, and a Hollywood Heritage Championship Match as Royce Issacs will defend against “Uptown” Andy Brown.  The show will air via Championship Wrestling from Hollywood’s broadcasting partners and  FITE TV.
