New Number One Contender Crowned On This Weeks POWERRR.
After a hard-fought victory in a triple-threat match against Natalia Markova and Missa Kate, Ruthie Jay has a date on October 28th, in Cleveland Ohio at NWA’s Samhain. This week on POWERRR, a new number-one contender was crowned for Kenzie Paige and The Burke.

After only two years of experience in the ring, the Five Star Athlete has managed to get her shot at the illustrious Burke. The Haitian-born Jay was trained by Gangrel before making her debut. Jay spent most of her first year wrestling in Florida, for Gangrel, Coastal Championship Wrestling, and even AEW Dark. She’d get her first NWA match-up against Kamille. She would return to the NWA following the tapings in Tampa to The Crockett Cup and HP Cares for Cooper.

Ruthie Jay and the World Champion have danced before. Quite a few times actually. One of Ruthie Jay’s biggest victories to date came via a disqualification when Kylie Paige interfered in a TV Title match. Jay’s victory didn’t lead to an immediate rematch. The two would step into the ring again, multiple times, but always under tag team rules, with the exception of the two victories that Kenzie has on Ruthie. On night 1 and night 4 of the World Is A Vampire Tour, Kenzie bested Ruthie Jay in non-title matches.
