Ten years earlier “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce and “The Shooter” Brent Albright would battle for the title. Brent Albright defeated Pearce at Death Before Dishonor VI in New York City to win the NWA Worlds Championship. Albright defended against Go Shiozaki in Chicago Ridge at Night of the Butcher II on August 16th 2008. Pearce would regain the title when he defeated Albright in Philly at Glory By Honor VII, September 20th 2008.
