FITE TV Preview

Strictly Business

Things may not be well in the land of Strictly Business. Chris Adonis vacated his NWA National Championship. Latimer and Adonis gave up their shot at the NWA World Tag Team Championships. All to help Nick Aldis. All to gain an advantage in the Battle Royal. And all to prevent Trevor Murdoch from becoming Number One contender. Not only did Latimer and Adonis fail to stop Murdoch, but they did nothing to help Aldis in his post match brawl. One can only assume that Strictly Business needs to get their house in order.

Kamille

The Brickhouse defeated Thunder Rosa at Back for the Attack to earn a shot at the Burke. She even allowed Rosa to challenge her for that opportunity last week. As great as Thunder Rosa has been she didn’t get the job done. She couldn’t defeat Kamille. And with Serena Deeb defeating Riho at AWE’s Double Or Nothing Buy-In the title match is set. Kamille will finally get her opportunity to challenge for the NWA World Women’s Championship!

William Patrick Corgan Speaks

Unlike some of his counterparts, William Patrick Corgan has opted to not be a central figure on television. He for the most part has been aloof of the NWA. Rarely do fans even see the NWA President and Owner from behind the scenes. Undoubtedly, WPC will more than likely address members of Strictly Business and their behavior as of late. And perhaps shed some news on the NWA National Championship.

POWERRR SURGE SPOTLIGHT

Luke and PJ Hawx are not the first father-son duo in professional wrestling to team together. But they might end up one of the best pairings. Ring of Honor, Reality of Wrestling, the Crash, Wild Kat, Hawx Aerie have wrestled all over. The Hawxs made their debut for the NWA as a tag team on Circle Squared, December 15h, 2019. The pair were victorious against the Koloff Dynasty. The concept of the Circle Square never reached it’s completion, a victim of the global pandemic. Famously the duo made headlines back in 2019, when PJ took a dramatic leap from the 2nd Story of a Mall. The leap went viral. While competing for NWA Wildside, Luke faced off with Sal Rinauro over the Wildside Jr. Heavyweight Championship. They often met across the ring from each other in Wildside.

Rinauro is everyone’s friend. Including former World Champion Tim Storm. Rinauro became a target for JR Kratos, after asking for a shot at the tag titles. Rinauro didn’t even have a tag partner. In a non-title match, Stevens and Kratos faced off against Rinauro without a partner. Kratos took this as an opportunity to punish Sal. Tim Storm became involved from the broadcast booth, to sock Kratos. Giving Rinauro an opportunity to score a role-up pin over Kratos. Storm has only legitimately wrestled in one match since the return of POWERRR. He partnered with Stevens and Murdoch to face Chris Adonis, Thom Latimer, and Kratos. The match was to determine if Murdoch would get to challenge Aldis for the Ten Pounds of Gold. Rinauro accidently distracted Storm, causing Storm to get pinned by Chris Adonis.
