NWA Smoky Mountain’s finest make Impact

The relationship between the National Wrestling Alliance and IMPACT Wrestling has been up and down for years. Even dating back to the termination of the NWA and TNA working relationship. However, over the years many talent associated with the National Wrestling Alliance have appeared on Impact programing.
Tonight at the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, TN two of NWA Smoky Mountains finest competitors will represent not only The premiere wrestling promotion in the Appalachian Region, but also represent the National Wrestling Alliance.
Chase Owens recently became NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion by winning a tournament after injuries to the former Champion Kevin Douglas prevented him from competing and forced him to forfeit his title. Owens has already put the NWA on notice that much like his predecessor, he would prove that he was pound for pound the best wrestler in the NWA.
Jason Kincaid is unique. Truly unique. Nothing about the man would appear to be traditional, however Kincaid is one of the fastest rising stars within the NWA. “The Gift” has been the fighting Smoky Mountain Heavyweight Champion, taking the belt to Mexico and all over the Eastern Tennessee area. Kincaid recently had an opportunity to dethrone former NWA World Champion Adam Pearce, but just came up short. Kincaid was also one of the nine competitors chosen to compete for the vacated NWA World Heavyweight Championship in Clayton New Jersey.
We wish the best to both Owens and Kincaid as they compete for the first time in front of a TNA crowd, we know that they will make an IMPACT.
