NWA Report

Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling has finally released the names of the challengers to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion for this week shows.  Keep in mind that the National Treasure has carried the Legendary 10lbs of Gold from California, to all over the UK, to Tennessee and will head to the Rockies to defend against Rocky Mountain Pro Champion Curtis Cole on the 16th and will face Mario Vanjur on the 17th.  It’s the match against Mario that will be taped for Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling’s I-TV show Charged, which is available on the

The following weekend Aldis travels to the North East for back to back shows with House of Hardcore, which will be available on Twitch.  No opponent has been named yet for the 23rd in New York, however we do know the 24th will feature Tommy Dreamer challenging for Sweet Charlotte at the old ECW Arena.  House of Hardcore currently has dates scheduled in Australia for this July.  And knowing that Aldis is supposed to be defending in Australia as part of The Aldis Crusade, I wouldn’t be surprised if we learn that the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion will be in Perth on July 11th, Adelaide on July 12th, Melbourne on the 13th, Sydney on the 14th, and Queensland on the 15th.  Of course, none of this is confirmed, I’m just speculating.

Of course, all of this is leading to perhaps the biggest conquest on the Crusade.  Bringing the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship back to China.  The NWA World Heavyweight Championship has never been defended in China.  History will be made when a former two-time NWA World Champion Colt Cabana challenges Aldis.  I have a very exciting announcement regarding the United Wrestling Network’s first show in China that I can’t wait to announce on the next podcast.  Please stay tuned.

With Wrestlemania the week before, the biggest night in pro wrestling, I wonder if Nick Aldis makes an appearance during the weekend with the Legendary 10lbs of Gold.

If Aldis is still champion after his defense in Wenzhou, he has to defend against Brandon Scott in Maryland on the 21st and against Matt Cross on the 22nd in Tennessee.  All upcoming dates for The Aldis Crusade are available on Alliance-Wrestling.com.

The question was recently posed, which NWA Title would you like to see the NWA focus on next.  I’d love to hear answer.  Please head to the Alliance-Wrestling forums and leave your comment as to which title you’d like to see get the NWA Spotlight shown on it next.
