NWA Rampage Pro Wrestling Press Release

NWA Rampage Professional Wrestling returns to Johnny G’s in Warner Robins, GA on Sunday, May 27, 2012 with a start time of 3PM for MEMORIAL MAYHEM.

Kyle Matthews, the NWA RPW Heavyweight Champion, returned to Johnny Gs on May 6, and soon was in a 10 man tag team elimination match facing off against long time rival Jimmy Rave and his Rave Approved group. Rave pinned Matthews after using the Title belt as a weapon to win that match. On Sunday, May 27, at Memorial Mayhem that NWA RPW Heavyweight Title belt will be on the line as Kyle Matthews defends against Jimmy Rave.

The blood feud between AJ Steele and Murder 1 reached such a level that Dr. Johnny Gayton ordered both to stay away from each other or be fired from RPW. At Memorial Mayhem they will finally meet in the ring and Dr. Gayton will be the man who will try to control the match as the special referee.

The Cash Vault team of Bobby Moore & Rob Adonis with Charlie Cash and the help of Dany Only tried to end the career of J Rod when they burned his face. Then they tried to do the same thing to Frankie Valentine’s uncle Billy Knight. At Memorial Mayhem J Rod and Frankie Valentine with Billy Knight in their corner not only get a change at revenge but also a chance to become NWA RPW Tag Team Champions.

NWA RPW TV Champion Drew Adler defends his title against the challenge of ROH’s Tony Kozina. Anthony Henry is challenged by ROH star Kyle O’Reilly. When the match was signed between KC McKnight and Davey Richards, Richards was ROH Champion and the match was to be a “Proving Ground” match, but now Richards is no longer ROH Champion and his match with KC McKnight becomes one where each man will have something to prove.

The unrest between the Members of Jimmy Rave Approved, Mike Posey, Corey Hollis, Chip Day & Patrick Bentley has been growing and the return of Jimmy Rave has not seemed to help so at Memorial Mayhem Jimmy Rave ordered a 4 Way match and who ever loses that match will not longer be Jimmy Rave Approved.

The Washington Bullets, Jon & Trey Williams, went undefeated for quite a while until Hot Like Lava ended their win streak and handed them their first defeat. This was after Shawn Banks & Cru Jones interfered in the Bullets tag title match against the Cash Vault preventing the Williams Brothers from winning their first RPW title. At Memorial Mayhem there are no titles on the line, rather town teams facing off, neither of whom much cares for the other. This may end up more fight than match.
