NWA Powerrr Results: February 7th
Here are the results from February 7th’s edition of NWA Powerrr, taped on January 31st from the Knoxville Convention Center, Knoxville TN.
Match 1: Kratos beat ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason in a really good match after Kratos caught Mason with a jumping knee strike. Kratos caught Pollo del Mar with a spear only moments earlier, distracting Silas.
Match 2: The Renegade Twins beat Ella Envy & Roxy in a good match to earn a title shot against Nuff Said against Pretty Empowered. Kenzie Page was handcuffed to a ring post throughout.
Matt Cardona told May Valentine that he didn’t feel like he should be wrestling tonight to decide the stipulation for the Nuff Said main event, but he has a partner who is dangerous, big, nasty, a proven winner and is someone who doesn’t like Tyrus. Mike Knox has not been told who it is.
Match 3: NWA TV Champion Jordan Clearwater (w/BLK Jeez) went to a time-limit draw with Mimms in a decent encounter.
Aron Stevens is furious that the NWA board won’t give Blunt Force Trauma a World Tag Team title shot. May Valentine is still furious about their ‘wedding’. Stevens tries to brush this off and puts the NWA tag team division on notice, but runs off when May screams “I hate you!”
Match 4: Thom Latimer defeated Jax Dane (w/Chris Silvio) in a good match when Latimer locked in a crossface and Silvio surprisingly threw the towel in.
Match 5: NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tyrus & Blunt Force Trauma (w/BLK Jeez & Aron Stevens) beat Matt Cardona, Mike Knox & Rolando Freeman in a ridiculous match which was more comedy than wrestling after Tyrus choke slammed Rolando. Afterwards, Tyrus announced that the stipulation for the Nuff Said main event would be that all managers and seconds would be banned from ringside.
