NWA Powerrr Results: February 14th 2023

Here are the results from February 14th’s edition of NWA Powerrr, taped on February 12th from the WEDU PBS Studios, Tampa, Florida.

Tyrus was interrupted at the podium by both Aron Stevens and Rolando Freeman, with both men angling for a title shot. Rolando showed some fire on the mic. Tyrus agreed to take Rolando on.

Match 1: Thom Latimer beat Jordan Clearwater (w/Austin Idol) in a good match to become the new NWA Television Champion. A shame for Clearwater as I’m a big fan, but it’s about time they strapped the rocket on Thom.

Joe Galli revealed the next NWA PPV will be NWA 312 from Chicago on April 7th. The first NWA Women’s Television Champion will be crowned there.

Match 2: La Rosa Negra beat Angelina Love in an entertaining encounter with the frog splash.

Silas Mason told Cyon that he deserves a shot at Cyon’s National Championship. Cyon, however, said he only wanted to wrestle the best and he’s going to have to look elsewhere for it…

Match 3: NWA World Tag Team Champions La Rebelión beat Ricky and Kerry Morton in a solid contest when Kerry had to stop himself colliding with Ricky with a knee strike, and a roll-up caused Ricky to be pinned. Some heelish attitudes were teased with Kerry, which was interesting.

Matt Cardona told May Valentine that he was screwed by Bully Ray at Nuff Said and that next week he was going to call him out. He said he was here to save the NWA, and he is – from Bully!

The Renegade Twins told Kyle Davis how proud they are of holding the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions. Pretty Empowered interrupted and told everyone that they made the belts what they are and want them back! The Renegade Twins asked if they wanted round two? Ella Envy had to be held back. Kenzie Paige made some excuses about being banged up so she didn’t have to wrestle and told Ella that Robyn will have to take her place in the match. Good segment overall.

Match 4: NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tyrus beat Rolando Freeman in a quick match where Tyrus allowed Rolando to get his shot in first before decimating the challenger. Afterwards, Blk Jeez and EC3 appeared to applaud the champ. Tyrus did not look impressed.

That’s all for this week’s NWA Powerrr. Thanks for reading!
