Here are the results from January 31st’s edition of NWA Powerrr, taped and aired LIVE from the Knoxville Convention Center, Knoxville TN.

Match 1: Odinson beat Bully Ray by DQ in an ok ‘No Tables’ match after Odinson led Bully into slamming him through a table in front of the ref.

‘Thrillybilly’ Silas Mason and Pollo Del Mar cut an excellent promo where Silas announced his intention to face Tyrus should Mason win the Champions Series. He also promised to face down Cyon. “How d’ya like them balls”?

Match 2: The Country Gentlemen beat The Fixers in a good match to win the NWA US Tag Team Titles after Anthony Andrews ducked a charging Wrecking Ball and rolled him up for the pin. Joe Cazana came out to congratulate the Gentlemen after.

Matt Cardona refused to sign the contract to fight Tyrus at Nuff Said unless he can choose the stipulation for the match. Tyrus suggested a match – Cardona and two partners vs. Tyrus and two partners, and the winner gets to pick the stipulation. Cardona agreed to the match, to take place on next week’s Powerrr. Tyrus came over very much like a face here, which was curious.

Match 3: Kenzie Paige defeated Charlotte Rampage in a fun encounter after Kenzie sprayed Rampage in the eyes with perfume and rolled her up.

Kyle Davis revealed that Psycho Love had not been able to make it to the arena due to weather issues. Kamille and Thom Latimer called the absent team wimps, which brought out Psycho Love to attack the Power Couple from behind with a kendo stick, knocking them from the stage to the floor and then beating them down in the ring. Good segment; Psycho Love looked dangerous (in a good way), which is what you want from this kind of debut.

Champions Series ‘Team War’ Final: Team Rock and Roll beat Team Tyrus in a very fun match after Dak Draper was able to pin EC3.

The wedding ceremony of Aron Stevens and May Valentine…there are no words. Your mileage may vary on this segment. Not for me, but if you enjoyed it, more power to you (pun intended). Needless to say, the wedding didn’t actually go ahead. A top-hatted Damage ended up taking a bottle to the head. Plus points for Sam Teano, who was genuinely amusing, and for Damage and Carnage coming out in top hats and with flowers taped to their chests.

That’s all for this week’s NWA Powerrr. Thanks for reading!
