Last time on NWA Fusion Meltdown the NWA Continental Champion, The Mempho Mofo, managed to escape with the most coveted prize in NWA Fusion around his waist. Now that the final roadblock is out of his way, he sets his sites on Shanghai Showdown and his greatest challenge as The Continental Champion, “The Pain Train” Preston Quinn. On this episode of Meltdown, The Mofo and The Pain Train will be in the same ring as NWA Fusion General Manager, Spencer Chestnutt has an important announcement regarding the Continental Title Match at Shanghai Showdown.
Plus Brandon Scott has been on a recent winning streak in NWA Fusion. On this episode of Meltdown he faces another young up and coming competitor looking to make a name for himself in the NWA Logan Easton LaRoux.
Then, the rivalry between “The War Horse” Larry Horsley and Sheik Kassir Assad has raged over the NWA Alpha Title for over a year. They will meet at Shanghai Showdown in a Ladder Flag Match for the Alpha Championship, but on this episode of Meltdown “The War Horse” teams with the Sons of Liberty to take on Sheik Kassir Assad, Sabbath and Sheik Ali Akbar.
