Former NWA Texas tag team champion Nobe Bryant won last night’s battle royal to secure his spot into the Independent Wrestling Expo Night 2′ Main Event. Bryant will join Jeff Cobb and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis in a triple threat for the #TenPoundsOfGold.
So many answers have emerged for the “National Treasure” last night. We now know who his opponent will be in September 15th at Prime Time Live. But now we know who will be the third man in tonight’s Triple Threat Match at the Independent Wrestling Expo.
Outlasting all of the others, including MMA Fighter King Mo, Nobe Bryant secured his spot into tonight’s main event. By winning the Battle Royal, Bryant joins Jeff Cobb as challengers to the Ten Pounds of Gold.
The impact the “The Real Deal” Nobe Bryant has left on the Southwest well be felt long after he leaves the ring. The former NWA Texas Champion has spent most of the last year displaying in talents all over Texas and in All Japan Pro Wrestling.
While in Japan he would regularly team up with The End (Parrow and Odinson) and had shared the ring with All Japan ace Kento Miyahara. Surprisingly, with all of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Matches that happened in Texas in the past eight years, this is Nobe’s first opportunity to challenge.
