Nick Aldis Re-Signs with the NWA | NWA News

Former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis appeared on Busted Open Radio. While on the broadcast the National Treasure announced he had re-signed with the NWA. Aldis has been with the National Wrestling Alliance since 2017.


Nick Aldis became the central figure of the NWA when he made his debut on Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. His first appearance was to challenge then-champion Tim Storm to a title match. On December 9th, 2017, Nick Aldis defeated Storm to become Worlds Champion.


Since then, Aldis was responsible for defending the Ten Pounds of Gold on four different continents. Including the first NWA World title defense in China. Not only as its World Champion, but also an ambassador of the NWA, Aldis would help to legitimize Billy Corgan’s NWA.


Nick Aldis is a two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. But he also is a former TNA World Champion. He is a former Ring Ka King Champion and held the Global Force Wrestling Championship. He’s also an accomplished tag team wrestler. He held the IWGP and Impact tag titles with Doug Williams and held the GHC Tag Titles with Samoa Joe.
