I’m very excited and honored to be promoting under the NWA banner as NWA World Class Wrestling in the State Of Texas.
One of the greatest thrills in my career was ten years ago when Ed Chuman, then head of NWA Midwest, personally invited my promotion, Mid American Wrestling to be an NWA affiliate. For years to follow, Eddie and I had a great friendship and business relationship.
I’am anticipating a comparable experience with the current NWA team of Fred Rubenstein, Chris Ronquillo and new NWA president, Bruce Tharpe. I have confidence that Bruce and his team will work steadfast to recapture the glory of the world’s oldest Wrestling promotion.
It is with great pride and excitement that NWA World Class announces its new Licensing Agreement with the NWA for 2013! We are pleased to be going forward with the new leadership team at the NWA who is already breathing new life and excitement into the organization.
I have known Bruce Tharpe on a personal basis for four years and know him to be a man of exceptional honor and integrity. I have also seen him in action in the courtroom on several occasions and because of his aggressiveness, poise, ability and success, has rightfully earned the nickname “the Power-House” among the legal community in Texas. I am proud to call him a friend and am very enthusiastic that he has recently been named new NWA President. friend and business partner, has shown his integrity and honesty – not only in wrestling circles but as a well respected attorney in Texas. His track record is beyond reproach.
NWA World Class kicks off its new relationship with the NWA with a spectacular wrestling card scheduled for Saturday, October 13 on South Padre Island, Texas.
Coinciding with “Bike-Fest” held on annual basis on South Padre Island, this event will be held beach side at Clayton’s Beach Bar & Resort. We are honored to have, in his final Texas appearance, NWA World Champion – Adam Pearce. If you’re within driving distance, take a drive to paradise to soak in the sun and see the NWA at it’s best.
