New Western States Heritage Champion

Has the prodigal son returned to the National Wrestling Alliance? Last night at Vendetta Pro Wrestling’s Melee Tour in King City, California Jeff Jarrett challenged “The Loverboy” Matt Riviera for the Western States Heritage Heavyweight Championship. Riviera defeated Brian Kendrick in the Finals of the tournament to crown the champion and has had victories over Chris Matters and Americos. The six time NWA World Champion proved to be the better man in King City, by defeating Riviera. It is believed that Jarrett will defend the title tonight in Lompoc.
