Mims defeated Zicky Dice to become the 7th Lightning One Era NWA World Television Champion.
The opportunity to take a roll-up, Big Strong Mims becomes the NWA World Television Championship. Mims is now the seventh man to be TV Champion in the Lightning One Era.
OUTLANDISH
Zicky Dice is a former TV Champion in his own right. Dice was determined to be TV Champion going back to 2019. Dice defeated Sal the Pal and CW Anderson to qualify for a qualifying match to join the NWA World TV Title Tournament. He would later defeat Caleb Konley to get into the tournament. However, Dice lost to Dan Maff at Hard Times 2020 to be eliminated from the tournament. Dice was diligent in becoming champion. He unsuccessfully challenged the first champion Ricky Starks. But would rebound to win the title on the 20th Episode of POWERRR. Dice would defend the title one time outside of the NWA against Rik Luxury, before losing the championship to Da Pope at Prime Time LIVE in Long Beach, California. Dice would leave the NWA until his return at the 75th Anniversary.
BIG STRONG
Mims made his debut teaming with Danny White on the very first episode NWA POWERRR in a tag team match against Thom Latimer and Royce Isaacs. The NWA faithful have literally watched the maturation of Mims. Outside his brief times teaming with Dak Draper and Da Pope, Mims has spent most of his tenure in the NWA pursuing the Television Championship. He lost twice to Tyrus. And even after winning Number One Contendership Matches, multiple times, he still lost to Jordan Clearwater. Mims is a homegrown talent and now represents the NWA as it’s WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION.
