New NWA Tag Team Champions Crowned

Aron Stevens and JR Kratos (Not the Question Mark) upset Eli Drake and James Storm to win the NWA World Tag Team Champions.

Last night on Prime Time LIVE, former NWA National Champion Aron “Shooter” Stevens shocked quite a few people by introducing his new tag team partner into the NWA foray. Stevens and his new partner JR Kratos defeated the pairing of Eli Drake and James Storm to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles.

The NWA Tag Team Championship Titles were re-introduced into the NWA at Crockett Cup 2019. A late added stipulation to that tournament would be the crowning of a new tag team champions. In the finals of the tournament Villain’s Enterprises (Brody King and PCO) defeated Thomas Latimer and Royce Isaacs (who later would be name Wildcard) to win the tournament and become new champions.

Drake and Storm defeated the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express and the Wild Cards in a Three Way Tag Team Match at NWA Hard Times on January 24th. The duo had one successful defense against the Bouncers (Brian Milonas and the Beer City Bruiser) on January 26th for episode 20 of NWA POWERRR.

Stevens spent the last two weeks claiming he was being snubbed by the NWA. Stevens and his former partner The Question Mark had laid out challenges for the NWA World Tag Team Titles when they were held by Morton and Gibson, but those challenges fell on deaf ears. Obviously JR Kratos isn’t the Question Mark, but Stevens defies you to prove that he’s wrong.
