MAIN EVENT ANNOUNCED FOR NWA 75 | NWA NEWS
While interviewing EC3 about relinquishing the NWA National Championship, Joe Galli confirmed the Main Events for both nights of the NWA 75th Anniversary Show.
Night One’s Main Event will feature The World Woman’s Championship being defended. Kamille has been on the opposite side of the ring with Natalia Markova seven times. Of those seven, four were for the National Wrestling Alliance. Of the four, only once was Markova afforded a shot at the Burke. Of the seven times they have battled each other, Markova has only one victory… via disqualification. This is a rematch from their encounter at the Crockett Cup Pay-Per-View.
Night Two’s Main Event has been announced as Tyrus versus EC3. EC3 made his motives clear before the 312 PPV. That he put Tyrus and the Ten Pounds of Gold in his sights for some time. And although we haven’t heard from Tyrus, Joe Galli announced the match as official.
Also during the interview, Galli confirmed that the winner of the Junior Heavyweight Scramble at The Crockett Cup, the Returning Colby Corino will also be getting a World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match at the 75th Anniversary. Galli would go on to say that every championship would be defended at the annual two-night pay per view.
The NWA 75th will be taking place in St. Louis on August 26th and 27th. Tickets have not gone on sale yet.
