Legendary NWA, WCCW, WWF and WCW Booker George Scott Passes Away

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported this morning that legendary pro wrestling booker George Scott passed away yesterday at the age of 85. George was best know for his booking stints in Jim Crockett Promotions / Mid – Atlantic Championship Wrestling. George was also booker for the WWE during the mid 80’s and he also booked for WCCW. George also had a small run as booker during the 1989 boom period of WCW. George was also a pro wrestler himself having wrestle in Stu Harts Stampede Wrestling, during the 1950’s and 1960’s he wrestled in Texas. George retired from the business in the very 1990’s. It was also noted that George had been ill for sometime
