Kylie Rae turned in a spectacular performance at When Our Shadows Fall Pay Per View. This would mark Kylie’s first appearance for the National Wrestling Alliance. This would also be her first national appearance since retiring from Impact Wrestling in 2020.

Kylie Rae Has Signed With the NWA

One of the bigger surprises for When Our Shadows Fall would be the inclusion of Kyle Rae on the program. During the show, the voice of the NWA, Joe Galli, indicated that a contract had been signed with the NWA. Impact and the NWA worked on an agreement that was only finalized about a week before the Pay Per View.
Rae joins an ever-increasing roster that includes; Thunder Rosa, Melina, Taryn Terrell, World Champion Kamillie, and showcases talent from Mission Pro Wrestling.

Who Is Kylie Rae

Kylie Rae was a highly sought after free-agent who signed on to compete for All Elite Wrestling in 2019. She had made her debut in a losing effort against Dr. Britt Baker DMD in a four-way match with Awesome Kong and Nyla Rose. It was for AEW’s Double or Nothing 2019 at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rae seemingly disappeared from the roster. Tony Khan granting her release.

A few weeks later she would land at Impact. But all was not well. After some time in the company, Rae decided to retire from pro-wrestling. Newsweek reported on her departure from Impact Wrestling. Citing her struggles with her own mental health, she took a break from social media. She also didn’t show up for Bound For Glory. At the time of this writing, Kylie still had a roster page on the Impact Website.

Currently, Kylie is the reigning Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion. She defeated Tessa Blanchard to win the championship on December 12th, 2020 at the Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series. She won and then defended the title against Madison Rayne on the third night of the series. Kylie would defend against Holidead the night before the NWA PPV.
