IZZY JAMES

This is Izzy James’ first NWA Championship. A staple in the Texas Wrestling scene, he has worked for Reality of Wrestling, but was also a regular of Bruce Tharpe’s NWA. He had worked for IHWE, Texhoma, River City Wrestling, and Branded Outlaw Wrestling. In his previous experience with the NWA, he shared the ring with Sho Funaki, Byron Wilcott, Mike Dell, Rudy Russo, Paul London, Jax Dane, and Tommy Dreamer. He has previously challenged Steven Anthony for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship at IHWE Parade of Champions 2016. He had previously challenged Rodney Mack for the NWA Elite Heavyweight Championship. He started appearing for Dogg Pound’s Championship Wrestling earlier this year with his first victory over Tino Valentino.

NWA TEXAS

The National Wrestling Alliance added two promotions in 2024 to represent the NWA Texas Territory. First Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling and later TSW. Dogg Pound is helmed by the legendary couple of Rodney Mack and Jazz as the off-shoot of the school of the same name. As well as training Izzy James, the pair also trained former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kevin Douglas.
