On Episode 48 Championship Wrestling From Memphis presented the Grind City Rumble 2022! 30 Men & Women fought for a Championship opportunity at the Anniversary show!
“The Best Of The Bests” Austin Lane returned after his injury at the Grind City Rumble as entrant No. 30 and got his revenge on his rival K Toomer! With the help of Uncle Mikey, Lane eliminated the Master of FatJutsu. It was as the 28th elimination, then he would pin Uncle Mikey to win the Rumble.
Austin Lane earned himself a Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship Match. At the Anniversary show, “Super Bout” on February 13th, 2022. He will face “The Gunshow” Brett Michaels. Michaels is coming off a victory against Mike Anthony, in an Anything Goes No Rules Match on Episode 47.
It is a match 15 years in the making! Despite sharing the same locker room for 15 years they never cross paths in the middle of the squared circle. The fans have anticipated this match-up for so long but it has never happened in Mid-South. Now at the Anniversary Show of Championship Wrestling From Memphis, it will finally happen!
