Kamille was ranked Number 9 on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 250 List. Wrestling is subjective. However, without the backing of a cable program, Kamille broke the Top Ten of all women in wrestling. This is especially rewarding considering the Brickhouse defended the title 41 times as champion over the course of 821 days. Depending on the exact date of qualification for the PWI Top 250, Kamille defended the Burke Roughly 17 times, eight of which were outside of the safe confines of the NWA. We will give Kamille her flowers and discuss what we think is next.
Exodus Pro Wrestling has announced its first event under the NWA umbrella on December 1st, 2023. (https://alliance-wrestling.com/event/colder-weather-nwa-exodus-pro-nwa/). This event will also feature the creation of a new NWA-recognized championship for Exodus Pro. We will discuss who we believe could be the next wrestling promotion to become an affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance.
Rumors are running rampant about the NWA and television. Unsubstantiated rumors are that the deal is with CW. The CW is a broadcast television network that is now 75% owned by Nexstar Media Group. The CW is the successor to The WB and UPN. The CW was the broadcasting home for Smackdown until 2008. Could pro wrestling return to the CW? Was this the top 20 channel that William Patrick Corgan had previously mentioned to have signed two agreements with? We’ll discuss this as well.
