Former WOW Champion at Crockett Cup 2019
Former Woman of Wrestling Champion Santana Garret has been announced as Allysin Kay’s opponent for the NWA Crockett Cup 2019 after it was announced that former champion Jazz would not be on the card and would be vacating the championship.
Santana Garret is no stranger to the National Wrestling Alliance. Nor is she a stranger to championships. Garret won the NWA Woman’s Championship on February 7th, 2015, by defeating Barbi Hayden in Plant City, Florida. Garret held the title nearly a full year before losing the title to Amber Gallows, who would, in turn, lose the title to Jazz.
While Champion, Garret defended the NWA Championship in STARDOM (an all woman’s wrestling promotion in Japan) and in the United States with SHINE, Ring Wariors, Game Changer Wrestling, Global Force Wrestling, and AWS.
Garret was also the inaugural champion of WOW’s return to television. Garret still competes for Women of Wrestling.
Allysin Kay versus Santana Garret for the NWA Woman’s Championship joins the event that will include Willie Mack defending his National Championship against Colt Cabana, The “Villain” Marty Scurll challenging World Champion Nick Aldis, and the 8 Man Tag Team Tournament the Crockett Cup.
