Former Worlds Champion to participate in the NWA National Title Series at the 70th

Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana will be in Nashville on October 21st to compete for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. Cabana famously challenged Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship back on April 14th in the People’s Republic of China, unsuccessfully for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood’s inaugural event across the pacific.

Cabana’s time with the National Wrestling Alliance, specifically with Championship Wrestling from Hollywood has been well documented.  Cabana appeared on the first episode and declared he was aiming for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, a feat he claimed twice on the program, both times defeating “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce.

Cabana joins seven wrestlers who will compete for the revived NWA National Championship. Stage One will feature two, Four Way Elimination Matches, before the finals where the winners will face off to fill the vacancy.
