First NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match in New Hampshire

Another first for the National Treasure was recently announced today. Nick Aldis will defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in New Hampshire at Injustice for Brawl 2. This will mark the first time the Worlds Heavyweight Championhip has been defended in the state of New Hampshire. The champion will defend against a former NWA On Fire stand out, Tommy Mack.

Dating back to the late 70s, New Hampshire had been a long standing territory for the World-Wide Wrestling Federation. And although the WWWF and its predecessor Capitol Wrestling Corporation were members of the National Wrestling Alliance, there has not been a defense in New Hampshire.

Tommy Mack made his professional debut at In Your Face Wrestling in 2007. Mack was a main stay for NWA On Fire promotion (in 2010) running mostly in Main. Mack had challenged unsuccessfully for the On Fire Championship, this will be his first shot at challenging for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

Nick Aldis has been NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion since October 21st 2018 when he defeating Cody in a 2 out of 3 falls match at the historic Asylumn in Nashville, Tenessee. Since then the champion has gone undefeated including a successful defense of the Ten Pounds of Gold in Missouri by defeating “The Legacy” Leland Race. However, what looms on the horizon for Aldis is facing a man that has been his friend for over 15 years.
