Vampiro and Blue Demon Jr. are legends of Lucha Libre. Blue Demon Jr. won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in Mexico City, on August 25th, 2008. Blue Demon Jr. held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship for 505 days. He was the first Mexican-born wrestler to hold the Ten Pounds of Gold. He was the last NWA Worlds Champion to defend in Mexico as well. Outside a few appearances with Impact Wrestling, Vampiro’s career mostly missed the NWA. The two veterans of the ring will team together to face Mecha Wolf and Bestia 666. The pair will be defending the titles for the first time in Mexico, but the second time in AAA.
