Colby Corino looks to redeem himself to the former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Rocky Romero, on Sunday, September 24th for Catalyst Wrestling. After squandered opportunities, Colby wants to prove to the man who signed off on him, that he has changed. That he isn’t a foolish kid, but a respectful man. The last time Rocky Romero even challenged for the World Junior Heavyweight Championship was at Chikara Maximum Overdraft on August 5th, 2007. He faced off against Mike Quackenbush at the Arena in Philly and lost. To Romero’s credit, he was the first NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion to defend in New Japan Pro Wrestling since Ultimo Dragon in 1996. Romero is currently the CMLL NWA Historic Welter-Weight Champion.
