Darius Carter has been a mainstay with Catalyst Wrestling and is currently the Catalyst Wrestling Champion. In fact, he defeated Colby to become champion. Their rivalry was so intense that a near riot nearly broke out in their last encounter. All parties involved agreed to make this a “Street Fight” with hopes of settling the score. Colby recently returned to the National Wrestling Alliance and for his efforts became NWA Worlds Junior Heavyweight Champion by defeating former champion Kerry Morton on Night 1 of the NWA 75th Anniversary Pay Per View. On Night 2 of the two nights of PPV, Colby defended against Lucha Libre Triple A’s Jack Cartwheel.
Originally Colby and Carter were going to be joined by Homicide in a Triple Threat Match but plans were changed based on Colby’s NWA title victory.
