Empire Wrestling Federation: Gold Standard 2

This event has to be considered one of the largest events of the year for NWA Pro affiliate Empire Wrestling Federation. A dual between EWF American Champion Ryan Taylor and the NWA Heritage Champion TJ Perkins. Perkins got his career started in EWF, where he is still currently half of the tag team champion, Famous for Fearless. Perkins has yet to hold an individual championship in Empire Wrestling. Ryan Taylor also got his start in Empire Wrestling. He’s been on a very hot streak as of late. The former Cruiserweight Champion recently defeated EWF Veteran Vizzion to capture the American Championship. A Title that has been held by many past superstars as Karl Anderson, Mikey Nicholls, Human Tornado, and The Plague. This battle shapes up to be tremendous as it also marks the first time the Heritage Title would be featured in an EWF Event.

The second big match will feature a Triple Threat 30 Minute Iron Man Match. The match will feature “Magnum” Joey Ryan, his off again on again tag team partner and former NWA Australian Heavyweight Champion Mikey Nicholls, and new returning champion Brandon Gatson.the Gatson has unfinished business with Nicholls, as Nicholls was responsible for putting the champ on the shelf in July with an onslaught of four vicious chair shots. As previously stated Nicholls is a former EWF American Champion. Joey Ryan who isn’t new to championship bouts or titles is in line for his first championship in an EWF ring. This event goes down Friday, Sept. 12th.
