#ICYMI, NWA Woman’s World Champion Serena Deeb defends the Burke against Allysin Kay at AEW’s Buy In, just a head of Full Gear.

Interesting turn of events, Allysin Kay recently announcing her free-agent status before signing on to face Serena Deeb for a chance at the NWA World Woman’s Championship. Deeb would become champion at Prime Time Live by defeating Thunder Rosa, who prior to the loss, looked unstoppable.
Deeb would then successfully defend against Leyla Hirsch on AEW’s Dynamite. This would mark the first time that two women not under contract to the National Wrestling Alliance would fight for the Woman’s Worlds Championship.
Serena Deeb defends the Burke against new free-agent Allysin Kay at AEW’s Full Gear Buy In. This will be Kay’s first shot at the NWA Woman’s World Championship since losing to Thunder Rosa at Hard Times, January 24th 2020.
