Deeb out with knee injury
Serena Deeb’s NWA debut could be in question after having her knee scoped last week.

Serena Deeb recently had a scope on her knee
AEW’s Woman of a Thousand Holds and reigning NWA World Woman’s Champion Serena Deeb recently announced via her Twitter that she had had her knee scoped. Deeb proclaimed the process “went really well. “
Knee arthroscopy is a surgical technique that can diagnose and treat problems in the knee joint. The procedure can be used to repair ligaments of the joint or to diagnose several more problematic issues (torn meniscus or a misaligned patella). “Recovery time will depend on the severity of the knee problem and the complexity of the required procedure.” The recovery time could keep Deeb out of action for three to six weeks. Deeb last wrestled for AEW on February 17th, in a match against former AEW Woman’s Champion Rhio in the first round of the Eliminator Tournament United States Bracket. She had initially debuted with AEW on September 2nd, 2020. Serena had retired from in-ring competition in 2017. She had begun working for the WWE as a Coach and the Performance Center, until her release.
Deeb as NWA World Woman’s Champion
Deeb was expected to debut, at NWA Back for the Attack and subsequent NWA POWERRR tapings. Serena Deeb won the NWA World Woman’s Championship from Thunder Rosa on the 7th Episode of Prime Time LIVE. All of Deeb’s title defenses have been under the AEW banner.
Serena looking forward
With a three to six-week recovery time, Deeb may not be active at the NWA events in March. Deeb is scheduled to make her debut for Wrestle Pro Alaska on April 9th and 10th. She will be taking on Circle Squared Alumni, Freya the Slaya.
